Born and raised in Manhattan, Elena is an actress, writer, and filmmaker. A graduate of Vassar College with a B.A. in English and French, Elena went on to earn her M.F.A from USC, School of Cinematic Arts, graduating Phi Kappa Phi.

A recipient of the Jeffery Jones Screenwriting Scholarship and the Ray Stark/Ted Turner MGM Award, she continued her education in Paris studying French Theater with Tisch School of the Arts. In 2000, Elena began studying at Warner Loughlin Studios.
Elena’s acting work includes; The Bride, G.I Joe Rise of Cobra, Purpose and is slated to star in East of Byzantium. She can be seen in the television shows Justified, Touch, Revenge, Body of Proof, Parenthood, House, CSI Miami, 90210, Monk, etc. And she has shot over 100 commercials and print campaigns.

Currently, Elena is directing MUSE, the feature length documentary exploring muses and their role in the Los Angeles art scene. She is also a published poet and is in pre-production for the feature length film, SHOWPIG.
